We are currently seeking an HR Generalist to join Reworld's Midwest Region HR Team, providing primary HR support for our Niagara Falls, NY facilities. This role offers hands-on exposure across the full spectrum of Human Resources, including employee relations, performance management, talent acquisition, leadership and employee development, employee engagement, and workforce planning. Reporting to the HR Manager, the HR Generalist will serve as a trusted advisor and business partner, delivering thoughtful, practical, and creative HR solutions aligned with business priorities. This position is designed to grow in responsibility and scope over time, offering meaningful opportunities for professional development and advancement within the organization. Position Responsibilities: Create an environment of positive employee relations; balance business needs with employee needs, establish trust and credibility with employees and be seen as approachable and fair Partner and coach managers on effectively engaging employees to assist in addressing and resolving people and employee relations issues. Partnering with compensation on leveling and projects across the sites Support employee timecard and payroll processes by auditing PTO and time entry accuracy, reinforcing manager accountability for approvals, and supporting attendance tracking. Create HR documentation related to Midwest process & procedures; and educate leaders on these updates. Assist with employee benefits administration including enrollment, changes and employee communications related to medical, dental, vision, 401(k), recognition and leave programs. Provide day-to-day HR support to employees and managers in a fast paced, dynamic environment with shifting priorities and high accountability. Support recruitment efforts within the assigned facilities; partner with facility managers to assess workforce planning needs Continue to enhance our onboarding process and handle all administrative tasks for onboarding, new hire orientations, exit/stay interviews, including analyzing trends and developing action tracker, status change forms to ensure HRIS System accuracy. Support and help organize employee engagement events. Assist in the development, implementation and communication of company policies and procedures Position Requirements & Qualifications: Associate's degree required or equivalent college coursework completed. Bachelors preferred, willingness to obtain. 3+ years of HR or administrative coordination experience in a fast-paced environment, preferably in a manufacturing environment supporting hourly and salaried workforce. Will require some travel between Western and Central NY facilities Strong business acumen and influencing skills. Experience handling multiple projects simultaneously and working in an environment which requires flexibility Role model for safety leadership. Self-starter who has a creative approach to implementing HR practices. The successful candidate must have the demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously with minimal supervision and to independently prioritize workload effectively. The ability to effectively interact with all levels of employees is key. Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills Proficient with MS Office products Strong analytical and problem-solving ability Strong knowledge of employment/labor law and progressive HR practicesHRIS experience highly desirable, experience with Workday/UKG Kronos a plus Physical Demands of the Role: While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, reach, stoop, kneel, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, telephone, and keyboard. Although this role is primarily office-based, the ideal candidate will be comfortable spending time in operational environments to engage with employees and participate in site initiatives. This may involve working in varying weather conditions and being exposed to hot, cold, and dusty environments. Shift: Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm In addition to salary, this role is eligible for benefits. The benefits would include medical, prescription drug, vision, and dental plans; 401(k) plan; paid parental leave; paid time off; and paid holidays. The pay range for the primary location of this position is: $69,100.00 - $91,900.00 USD. For hourly roles, this is the annualized salary. To calculate the hourly rate, divide by 2080.
