Maintenance Technician

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization in Newton, NC, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting plant operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Maintenance Technician Location: Newton, North Carolina What’s the Job? Troubleshoot and repair CNC machinery including lathes, mills, and turning centers Diagnose control system faults and machine axis issues to restore equipment functionality Perform precise mechanical repairs including alignment, calibration, and component setup (ball screws, tail stock, turret) Verify machine performance and accuracy following repairs Document all repairs and preventive maintenance activities accurately What’s Needed? Strong technical knowledge of CNC controls (Fanuc, Siemens, etc.) Experience working with CNC machinery including lathes, mills, and turning centers Proficiency in electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems Ability to read and interpret schematics, ladder logic, and technical prints Excellent troubleshooting skills with a focus on identifying root causes What's in it for me?
