Warehouse Operator As a Warehouse Operator, you will be responsible for performing all tasks associated with loading trailers so that finished products can be delivered on time to our customer per written procedures, policy, and regulations. The Warehouse Operator must perform in a busy environment with constantly moving product/machinery, and act according to written procedures, policy, and regulations. Shifts: Rotating Shifts: 4 Weeks 8AM 8PM, 4 Weeks 8PM 8AM Altering shifts when needed Working overtime and weekends as needed Shift differential pay Above all you will be expected to carry out all your activities with reliability, integrity, compliance and in a safe, environmentally responsible, and efficient manner. Your Responsibilities: Follow outlined duties as assigned in daily inbound / outbound schedule from warehouse management. Maintain the principles of first in / first out (FIFO) in the storage and retrieval of materials. Coordinate with other lift truck drivers and production personnel to ensure the efficient performance of warehouse and production processes. Prioritize multiple tasks to maximize work efficiency. Sanitation duties as required in order to maintain a clean and safe environment. Accomplish other related work as required. Comply with all safety regulations. Follow Good Manufacturing Practices. Reports all accidents/injuries and unsafe conditions to location management. Maintains any logs as required. Attention to detail. Exhibits ability to process consistently and accurately verbal and/or written instructions and procedures Education, Experience, Skills: High School diploma or equivalent; or up to three months related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must demonstrate basic mathematical skills. Experience in a manufacturing environment, especially food production, is helpful. Ability to use a slip-sheeter is preferred. Ability to read and interpret documents such as formulas, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to effectively communicate clearly in English commensurate with the requirements of this position. Must have a basic mechanical aptitude. Must be able to use safely use handheld knife. Loading and off-loading of trucks, receiving inbound ingredients, production driving and packaging driving. Regularly required to stand. Frequently is required to walk; use hands to handle and perform tasks with tools or equipment controls; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Occasionally required to climb on ladders or other supporting structures off ground level. Occasionally exposed to dusty conditions. Frequently works near moving mechanical parts. Occasionally works in high, precarious places and in outside weather conditions and is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate Good to have: At least one year of manufacturing or plant operations experience. Experience driving a forklift. Physical requirements and working conditions (with or without reasonable accommodation): Able to lift up to 50 pounds. Able to work in a production environment and wear respiratory protection. Able to work in hot and cold conditions. Ascend and Descend stairs throughout the facility. Climb step and extension ladders as well as on top of rail cars (if necessary). Wear the required PPE. Our salary ranges are broad, and individual salary will be market competitive based on a candidate's unique set of skills and level of experience. The starting range for this position is $17.00 - $22.62, with additional earning potential possible commensurate with experience. Additionally, we believe that our team members are the reason for our success and all team members are incentive eligible with a target based on contribution, company performance, and individual results achieved. While the specific bonus plan and target amount will be determined based on the role and breadth of contributions, the targeted bonus plan and targeted percentage amount for this role is Bonus - OIP, 5% Annual.
