This includes performing administrative tasks such as maintaining documents, directing incoming calls, providing reports, and supporting a variety of other functions to ensure that the warehouse is providing Core-Mark customers with exceptional service and qualityResponsibilities may include, but not limited to:Loads and unloading truck and/or company vehicles.Places products in areas identified by customersCompletes required documentation in a timely mannerCoordinate communication on inbound scheduling with warehouse, vendors & carriersValidating all inbound product counts and changes to customer orders; communicating these aspects to team membersInputting data into the system and scheduling appointments.Retrieving and reviewing daily reports from the systemCompleting documentation and following filing proceduresMaintaining warehouse operations recordsAnswering and directing incoming callsHelp stock as neededMaintain cleanliness of the receiving areaEnsure the accuracy of all vendor receiving documentsCollect all documents for inbound freight and route to proper record-keeping departmentOperate forklift and hand truck to unload trucks and move product to storage and/or work area.Observe security policies and procedures at dock doors/receiving areaMUST scan in every box received into inventory and report issues to managementParticipate in all inventory and cycle counting.Responsible for charging all lumper and late fees to inbound truck vendors and selling pallets for profitPerforms other related duties as assignedIdeal Candidate Qualities:The ideal candidate for this role will demonstrate strong judgment and sound decision-making skills, which are essential for success as a Receiving Clerk. We’re looking for someone who is:Detail-oriented, with a keen eye for accuracy and organizationProactive and growth-minded, taking pride in their work and actively contributing to the company’s successA team player, who communicates well and thrives in a collaborative environmentEquipped with above-average math skills and strong oral/written communication abilities#CM-ALLQualifications:High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent6+ months of warehouse and/or distribution work experience Intermediate computer knowledge and ability to learn/use computer programs on the job.Ability to communicate effectively and apply general math skillsAbility to work reliably from verbal and written instructions.Must be able to work the scheduled/assigned times and required overtime for the position Able to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout shift Able to lift, stack, and/or pull products off shelves, as well as replenish product, from various heights weighing between 10-35 pounds and generally up to between approximately 60 and 90 pounds, depending on the location, throughout shift Able to work in multi-temperature environments, i.e., cooler, freezer and dry Able to obtain certifications for powered equipment, such as Forklift operation Pass post offer drug test and criminal background checkCompany descriptionCore-Mark continues to grow as the industry leader in fresh and broadline solutions for the convenience retail industry.
