Skilled Nursing Facility - Director of RehabilitationJob Summary:We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director of Rehabilitation to join our team at Skilled Nursing Facility in Newark, NJ. As a Director of Rehabilitation, you will be responsible for overseeing the rehabilitation department and ensuring that our patients receive the highest quality care and treatment. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement effective rehabilitation plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.Responsibilities:Oversee the daily operations of the rehabilitation department, including the management of rehabilitation staff, therapy modalities, and equipmentConduct patient assessments and develop individualized rehabilitation plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary teamManage and coordinate the rehabilitation services provided to patients, including physical, occupational, and speech therapyEnsure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations governing rehabilitation servicesDevelop and maintain relationships with referring physicians, hospitals, and other healthcare providers to ensure a smooth transition of care for patientsParticipate in quality improvement initiatives to improve patient outcomes and department efficiencyCollaborate with the administration to develop and implement policies and procedures that support the mission and goals of the organizationRequirements:Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Speech-Language Pathology, or related fieldCurrent licensure as an Occupational Therapist, Physical Therapist, or Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of New JerseyMinimum of 5 years of experience in a rehabilitation setting, with at least 2 years of experience in a management or leadership roleStrong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providersAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects simultaneouslyStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisionsHow to Apply:If you are a motivated and compassionate professional with a passion for rehabilitation, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
