Funding Source Functions and Responsibilities Job Summary Under the supervision of the Chairperson of the Division of Nursing & Health Sciences (DNHS), the Associate Coordinating Director of DNHS is responsible for providing administrative, managerial and logistical support the DNHS. This position offers a competitive starting salary of $70,000 - $78,000, along with a comprehensive college benefits package. Supervisory Role The Associate Coordinating Director may supervise professional staff, support staff, and student workers. Duties & Responsibilities 1. Provide comprehensive administrative and operational support to the Chairperson and the Division of Nursing & Health Science (DNHS). 2. Support the Chairperson in developing and implementing strategic plans and goals to advance the division. 3. Assist with student recruitment, retention, and graduation initiatives, as well as faculty recruitment and retention efforts. 4. Support ongoing compliance with accreditation standards for DNHS programs. 5. Monitor outcomes of assigned projects and organize data-driven program initiatives. 6. Prepare and coordinate DNHS departmental calendars, including orientations, pinning ceremonies, guest speakers, events, and other Chairperson-directed activities. 7. Provide critical support to Health Science (AAS) degree programs, including student advisement. 8. Assist in managing clinical-related operations, including oversight of Castle Branch and Trajecsys systems. 9. Serve on DNHS departmental committees as assigned. 10. Facilitate division procurement processes and vendor-related matters. 11. Establish and maintain accurate records for tracking student data within the division. 12. Prepare routine, special, and ancillary reports as required. 13. Respond to, route, and manage inquiries directed to DNHS. 14. Communicate effectively with faculty and students in alignment with DNHS goals. 15. Supervise office operations and staff as authorized by the Chairperson. 16. Maintain strict confidentiality and security of student and faculty records. 17. Perform additional duties as assigned. Additional Requirements Minimum Qualifications Experience (number of years), Knowledge and/or Abilities 1. Master's degree. 2. Degree in Business or Health or Public Administration preferred. 3. Ability to work independently, making decisions based on approved college policies and division policies. 4. Working knowledge of computer applications, preferably Microsoft Office Suite. 5. Display interpersonal skills. 6. Ability to communicate effectively and promptly, both verbally and in writing. 7. Ability to function in a multi-cultural environment. Education Requirements Master's Degree Licenses and Certifications (including e.g., CPR, first aid, driver's license, etc.) Preferred Qualifications Experience (number of years), Knowledge and/or Abilities 1. Demonstrate knowledge of a computerized record management and maintenance system, preferably Banner. 2. Ability to work an extended schedule, including evenings and weekends, according to the demands of the role and tasks.
