Structured Cabling Project Manager

The Tech Ops Lead / Project Manager partners with the Line of Business (LOB) key contacts for all projects and routinely engages with support groups within Global Technology Infrastructure (GTI) organization, including Finance, Network, End User Products, and Operations. The ideal Tech Ops Lead / Project Manager has project management skills as well as experience with various infrastructure technologies such as telecommunications, virtual computing, networks, wireless (WiFi) technology, security, DAS, 2Way radio, Auxiliary Radio Communications System (ARCS), vertical transport, smart building (IoT) nd multimedia to name a few. Task/ Responsibilities / Qualifications Proven experience in structured cabling design and implementation. Familiarity with industry standards such as ANSI/TIA/EIA and BICSI. Five (5) plus year experience in structured cabling field. ble to work independently and as part of a team. Review schematic design, design development, construction documents and comments via PDF markups, log tracker. Ensure design aligns/adhere with GTI structured cabling nd industry standards. Provide technical support and guidance to design partners. ttend coordination and status meetings between Architectural, MEP, AV, Security, Smart Building (IoT), WiFi, DAS, Auxiliary Radio Communications, Vertical Transport. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Office Suite (word, excel, visio, powerpoint) Construction Administration Site walks as needed. Document and issue field observation/punch list reports. Ensure telecom infrastructure installation aligns with BICSE/TIA/local codes and GTI structured cabling standards. ttend construction and coordination meetings between Architectural, MEP, AV, Security, Smart Building(IoT), WiFi, DAS, Auxiliary Radio Communications, Vertical Transport. Review RFI, shop drawing submittal responses. Close out documents supervision Site shell ready, room ready & production ready checklist signoffs Pull /patch schedule matrix completed by low voltage contractor Fiber/Copper test results s built drawing review (Revit/CAD/PDFs) Warranty and certification documentation
