This is a fast-paced role for a hardworking and highly organized individual who thrives on juggling multiple priorities. You are the "engine room" of the trade department, ensuring that every professional project"”from residential penthouses to boutique hotels"”runs with precision and a positive, "can-do" spirit.Key Responsibilities:Operational Support & Workflow Management:Execute and Organize: Manage the administrative lifecycle of trade orders, from initial quote generation to final delivery coordination, ensuring no detail falls through the cracks.Project Tracking: Maintain meticulous records of project timelines, stock availability, and lead times to keep our design partners informed and confident.Data Integrity: Keep accurate records of designer interactions and sales data within our systems, contributing to the overall efficiency of the trade division.Flexibility: Adapt quickly to the shifting priorities of a high-volume showroom, assisting with everything from sample management to onsite client prep.Trade Client Engagement & Tech Integration:Digital Proficiency: Utilize the Google Workspace suite and Excel to manage inventory lists, client databases, and outreach schedules.AI Integration: Leverage AI tools to streamline drafting communications, summarizing project requirements, or enhancing workflow efficiency.Proactive Outreach: Support the Trade Team in maintaining relationships with existing design firms, responding to inquiries with speed, professionalism, and an outgoing demeanor.Virtual Assistance: Facilitate virtual consultations and digital presentations, ensuring our online assortment is presented as effectively as our physical showroom.Product Coordination & Design Knowledge:Sample Logistics: Be the master of the "memo" process"”organizing, shipping, and tracking rug samples for designers to present to their clients.Assortment Awareness: Develop a solid grasp of our rugs, materials, and construction techniques to provide quick answers to technical questions from the trade.Trend Monitoring: Assist the team in identifying industry developments and competitor movements to ensure our trade offerings remain at the forefront of the design world.Service Excellence: Ensure every designer feels supported and valued by providing a seamless, high-energy service experience that encourages repeat business.Being a Team Player:· Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment by sharing expertise and best practices with colleagues and partnering with the trade team to build their sales with design services.· Assist in maintaining visual merchandising standards and replenishment, ensuring the showroom is consistently appealing and organized.· Adapt quickly to changes in product inventory, promotions, or sales strategies, ensuring effective communication of these changes to customers.Qualifications:· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.· Tech-Savvy Communicator: Proficient in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides) and Excel for data entry, project tracking.Forward-Thinking Skillset: Familiarity with basic AI tools to optimize workflows, draft content, and improve daily operational efficiency.Positive & Adaptable Demeanor: An outgoing, "can-do" personality that thrives under pressure and maintains a high level of professionalism when collaborating with trade partners.· Alignment with ABC's brand vision.· Flexibility: Available to work a retail schedule that aligns with store needs.ABC Carpet & Home is an equal opportunity employer.
