In this pivotal role, you will support the Store Manager in overseeing all aspects of daily operations, ensuring the store runs smoothly, efficiently, and profitably. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and are committed to team success and customer satisfaction, we invite you to bring your talent to our store.Assist store manager in overseeing all aspects of daily store operation including store sales and profitabilityTrack, analyze, and act to improve store performance at all levelsFoster positive work environment and lead by exampleHire, train, and motivate store teamsEnsure proper training and development of associatesEnsure the store products meet or exceed quality standards and are merchandised according to brand standardsAchieve and exceed profit goals while maintaining expense controls and increasing salesFocus on customers satisfaction and needs and hold employees accountable to provide the same superior service through best practicesAssist in overseeing store merchandising, department ordering/receiving, waste and returnsOversee department and store schedulesEnsure team members adhere to Company policies, procedures, and guidelinesAssist in overseeing control of all inventory, product cost, cash handling, and purchasingOversee and monitor handling of cash, safe, registers, POS transactionsAssist in overseeing and executing all the necessary reporting and admin duties: Invoices, Payroll, Inventory, addition, other duties, tasks, projects as per business needQualificationsMinimum 5 years of assistant store management experience in a food/grocery or retail operation, or equivalent experienceDemonstrated track record of workplace achievement in the selection, coaching, and development of employees.Proven ability to drive customer satisfaction, financial performance and employee satisfaction.Ability to work with performance metrics, product specifications, and management systemsProven experience managing a team within a multi-department operationProficient knowledge and understanding of food and beverageExceptional guest service skillsExcellent oral and written communication skillsExpertise in health, food safety & sanitation procedures (Dept. of Health/ Dept. of agriculture experience is a plus)Coaching and staff development experienceKnowledge and ability to operate basic kitchen equipmentExcellent interpersonal, time management, and organizational skillsAbility to work a flexible schedule including nights, holidays, weekends.Must be computer proficientMust be willing to travel to different store locations to meet the demands of the businessMust be able to meet physical demands of the position including standing for extended periods of time, bending, pulling, pushing, carrying up to 50 pounds, etc.Important Disclaimer Notice:The described functions are among the essential job functions for this position but are not exhaustive of the essential functions of the job or of the tasks that an Associate may be required to perform.
