We're seeking a driven and creative Public Relations (PR) Specialist to elevate our brand in the world of architectural surfaces, luxury interiors, and natural stone and tile design. If you have a passion for storytelling, strong media instincts, and a pulse on design trends, we'd love to meet you.Key ResponsibilitiesMedia Relations & Brand StorytellingWrite and distribute press releases, product announcements, and editorial pitches tailored to design, lifestyle, and trade mediaCultivate relationships with journalists, editors, and publications in the design, architecture, and construction spaceCoordinate media tours, showroom visits, and interviews with company leadership and design collaboratorsSecure coverage in key print and broadcast outlets such as interior design magazines, trade journals, and architecture platformsMaintain a comprehensive media archive and track earned media impactStrategic Communication & MessagingDevelop PR strategies that align with our brand voice, aesthetic, and business goalsSupport executive visibility through speaking engagements, interviews, and curated press opportunitiesManage communication responses in sensitive situations to protect brand integrityDigital PR & Influencer CollaborationPartner with interior designers, architects, and influencers for content collaborations and product featuresBuild connections with digital design platforms, blogs, and online magazinesCraft SEO-conscious content that supports both search visibility and brand storytellingDevelop and lead digital campaigns that bring our products and projects to life onlineReputation Monitoring & Crisis ManagementMonitor brand mentions across digital and social media platformsUse tools like Google Alerts, Brandwatch, or Meltwater to track sentiment and conversation trendsAddress potential reputational issues proactively and respond to emerging concernsAnalytics & InsightsAnalyze media performance data to measure campaign effectiveness, sentiment, and reachReport insights and PR ROI to leadership teamsAgency & Partner CoordinationCollaborate with PR and marketing agencies, photographers, and industry partnersWork cross-functionally with internal teams, including marketing, sales, and designContent & Asset DevelopmentDevelop press kits, FAQs, project spotlights, and brand stories for media useWrite engaging content for web, email campaigns, and blog features aligned with our brand toneEvent Activation & Industry PresencePlan and execute PR components of trade shows, showroom launches, and industry events (e.g., Coverings, ICFF, KBIS)Manage press attendance, post-event follow-up, and visibility strategiesQualificationsBachelor's degree in PR, Communications, Journalism, or a related field3+ years of PR experience, MUST in design, architecture, or high-end materialsExceptional writing, storytelling, and media pitching skillsExperience with PR analytics and media monitoring toolsA strong network in the design and interiors community is a plusHighly organized with the ability to manage deadlines and multiple initiatives
