This role is essential for aligning our AI technology strategy with overarching business goals, ensuring that we maximize the value of AI in a secure and responsible manner. The Team Be a part of MassMutual's Enterprise Architecture team in the Enterprise Technology and Experience organization. This diverse team comprises Business, Application, Infrastructure, Data, and Security domains, providing a collaborative environment where you can partner with top architects, technologists, and business leaders to drive digital innovation. The Impact: As an AI Solutions Architect, you will be crucial in designing AI solutions that enhance our digital capabilities and elevate customer engagement. You will work closely with various Enterprise Architecture domains, R&D teams, business stakeholders, IT teams, and compliance partners to implement solutions that align with business outcomes and architectural standards. Key Responsibilities: Develop and refine the Enterprise AI Architecture strategy and roadmaps. Create AI Reference Architectures and provide consultative guidance. Update specifications and publish AI Standards and Patterns centered on technology, development, security, privacy, and observability. Design AI platform architectures and integration patterns while staying ahead of emerging AI technologies. Consult on AI capabilities across business and technology platforms, ensuring alignment with architectural frameworks and business strategy. Evaluate AI architecture deliverables and conduct capability assessments. Actively share knowledge through publications and multimedia to engage with the architecture community. Document design decisions and solutions in partnership with solution architects. Identify AI risks and process issues, collaborating with technology leaders and business partners for resolution. Offer insights on problem-solving, solutions, risks, cost-benefit analyses, and impacts on cross-domain systems and business processes. Coordinate with enterprise departments to communicate strategies, standards, and architectural guidance. Work alongside AI Governance teams to ensure the responsible use of AI. Stay informed about emerging AI threats and design architectures that mitigate them. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, including the Colorado AI Act and global data privacy standards. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, system analysis, or a related field. 8+ years of IT design and implementation experience with expertise in at least two of the following: AI/ML frameworks, coding environments, cloud platforms, or big data technologies. 5+ years of experience in solution architecture development and delivery. 5+ years interpreting and developing business architecture. 5+ years creating solutions for complex cloud-native products, applications, and platforms. 5+ years in a technology advisory role with experience in AI or big data platforms. Ideal Qualifications: Knowledge of governance and compliance frameworks, with an understanding of AI Governance and privacy requirements like the Colorado Artificial Intelligence Act. Experience providing guidance to agile teams on design, risks, and opportunities regarding technical architecture. Preferred experience in designing GenAI solutions and familiarity with MLOPS, LLM, Amazon Bedrock, OpenAI, and related technologies. Recognized as a thought leader capable of influencing business and IT decisions. Technology-neutral, focused on results rather than specific technologies or vendors. Exhibits intellectual curiosity and integrity. Motivated by achieving long-term business success. Ability to consider both long-term strategies and short-term impacts of decisions.
