Job Description: Serves as IT/AV Services Support Analyst providing comprehensive technical support for System Administration Offices, primarily SUNY Global Center, and its external clients. Delivers Level 1 and Level 2 technical support during core business hours (10am-6pm in office, 9am-5pm remote), while providing Audio Visual Support to daily contracted events in the multiple event venue spaces. Provides crucial support for audio/visual systems and participates in technology deployment projects. Duties and Responsibilities: Audio/Visual Support: Serve as a point of contact for all Audio-Visual related services at the Global Center Directly interact with internal staff and external clientele for A/V support related issues Assist Lead IT/AV Services Coordinator with assignments and projects Set-up production sets for events with cameras, speakers, microphones and additional monitors Create and edit recordings of events, social media clips, and senior staff speeches and interviews Maintains proficiency with conference space A/V equipment and video conferencing platforms. Resolves common A/V-related issues User Support: Provides technical support for meetings in Global Center NYC office. Provides Level 1 and 2 technical support for System Administration Offices across all locations: Walk-in, phone, and email support Password resets and basic email configuration Document formatting assistance Problem research and in-person support Supports University-Wide Network Operations, including connectivity testing Delivers Level 2 on-site support including: Computer moves Printer corrections and maintenance Creates documentation for building staff for ease of service with equipment use Assists in training and development of interns Maintains documentation in TDX knowledgebase for end users and OIT staff Logs all incidents and requests in TDX System Technology Solutions Projects: Participate in planned department projects including: New product deployments Computer rollouts Server deployments/migrations Other department initiatives Requirements: Minimum Qualifications:Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field or equivalent industry experience Experience: Demonstrated experience in technical support Proficiency in documentation and knowledge-based maintenance Skills: Strong technical troubleshooting abilities Excellent customer service skills Experience with help desk ticketing systems Proficiency in A/V equipment support Ability to work independently and as part of a team Preferred Qualifications: Experience in higher education IT support Experience with providing front-facing customer service Knowledge of Audio-Visual systems and video conferencing software Familiarity with remote and deskside end-user troubleshooting Experience with printer maintenance and support Strong documentation skills Additional Information: Salary is dependent on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, experience, education, training, and certifications. The range for this position is $58,000-$64,000. State Title: Programmer-Analyst (SL-2). Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
