Product Developer - Merch

Our client, a well-known music entertainment company, is looking for someone to join their team as a Product Developer - Merch. This role is hybrid in New York. This is a 4-month W2 contract In this role, you will assist in executing merchandise needs for artist-specific e-commerce and touring campaigns.What You Will Be DoingAssist in executing merchandise needs for artist-specific e-commerce and touring campaignsManage timelines and schedules across cross-functional teamsNegotiate and cost-engineer products to meet retail targets and marginsAssist in overseeing pre-production timelines and compliance with product specificationsAssist with managing supplier relationships and product integrity throughout the development process.Required Skills & Experience3+ years of experience in apparel and accessories production or product developmentDiverse market experience across various apparel segments including men's, juniors, and children's wearStrong skills in cost negotiation with vendors and product engineeringBachelor's degree in Product Development, Textile Science, Fashion Design, or a related field (Preferred)Music merchandise production experience is a plusMotion Recruitment Partners is an Equal Opportunity Employer, including disability/vets.
