Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Case Management Discipline: RN Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 35 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Local Contract Wellness QA Nurse Manager (RN) Location: Midtown Manhattan, NY Pay: $55–$60/hour (DOE) Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday (flexible hours as needed) Contract Type: Long-Term Temporary Overview A leading healthcare organization in Midtown Manhattan is seeking an experienced Wellness QA Nurse Manager (RN) to drive quality improvement initiatives, oversee clinical teams, and ensure excellence in patient care delivery. This role is ideal for a nurse leader with strong HEDIS, QA/QI, and population health experience who thrives in a collaborative, data-driven environment. Key Responsibilities Lead coordination and development of quality improvement goals and outcomes using HEDIS specifications Develop and manage Corrective Action Plans (CAPs) to improve performance metrics Conduct chart reviews and population health data analysis aligned with HEDIS standards Track, trend, and analyze quality-related issues and performance data Serve as a clinical liaison between providers and the organization on quality-of-care concerns Identify gaps in care across chronic and behavioral health conditions and implement solutions Collaborate with leadership to evaluate effectiveness and recommend quality enhancements Engage RNs, Health Educators, and Social Workers in outreach and quality initiatives Provide clinical supervision and oversight to Wellness RNs and Health Educators Educate patients on acute/chronic conditions and healthy lifestyle practices Participate in vaccination programs, screenings, and community outreach events Attend health fairs and events across NYC boroughs as needed Perform additional duties as assigned Qualifications Active New York State RN License (required) Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (preferred) Minimum: 3 years of Quality Improvement / QA experience 2 years of management/supervisory experience 2 years of clinical nursing experience (ambulatory, community health, or med/surg) Strong background in: Clinical assessment & patient education Motivational interviewing Quality assurance & performance improvement Experience with HEDIS and NCQA standards (required) Excellent communication and collaboration skills with providers Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) Bilingual Spanish (preferred) Valid NYS Driver's License & willingness to travel within NYC (preferred)a25371ca-cde7-4fb6-ba87-2cf40b156c8b
