Opportunity The practice is seeking a Full-Time or Part-Time General Anesthesiologist to join their expanding team. This is a premier opportunity to manage a wide-ranging and clinically challenging caseload in a Level 2 Trauma environment. The schedule is designed for sustainability, featuring 3-4 calls per month with guaranteed post-call days off . Every 12 weeks, physicians participate in a weekend rotation (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday call). For those looking to maximize their earnings, there is an option to take an extra call for additional compensation . Residents are welcome and encouraged to apply , making this an ideal entry point into the NYC private practice market. Responsibilities Provide anesthesia for a diverse and complex caseload, including Obstetrics (OB), Bariatrics, Neurosurgery, Spine, and Level 2 Trauma . Manage a small volume of Pediatric cases; please note there are no cardiac cases . Participate in a balanced call rotation (3-4 calls per month) with dedicated post-call recovery time. Lead anesthesia care teams in a fast-paced hospital setting, ensuring high standards of patient safety. Conduct pre-anesthetic evaluations and develop tailored plans for high-acuity surgical patients. Qualifications Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree. Board Certification or Eligibility in Anesthesiology. Valid license to practice medicine in the State of New York (or eligibility). Residents and Fellows are welcome to apply!
