The RSD is expected to coach, motivate, train and direct the regional sales team while developing and implementing strategic plans that meet the region's sales goals. We are looking for a high energy, ethical and business savvy individual with urology and/or pediatric endocrinology experience. A minimum of 8 plus years pharmaceutical experience is a must! In addition, the ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 plus years of pharmaceutical, medical device and/or business-to-business management experience and a documented record of sales and leadership success. The successful candidate will also need to demonstrate their ability to successfully transfer knowledge and sales techniques to their team members, have a background in training or marketing, as well as buy-and-bill experience.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesEnsure sales team understands and abides by pharmaceutical guidelines and compliance regulationsRecruit, interview, hire & train exceptional specialty sales representativesAnalyze business trends to identify regional opportunities and develop a business plan to ensure regional growthExecute sales strategy and tactics in pursuit of corporate, regional and territory goalsCoach and lead a regional sales teamCreate and maintain a positive team atmosphereWork in field with representative and/or other field duties three or more days each weekField-based position with manager working primarily out of their home when not in fieldCultivate and maintain relationships with key customers throughout the region to represent our company and services to medical offices, healthcare institutions, governmental agencies and payersHold team members accountable for achieving all deliverablesManage regional travel & work related expensesManage/communicate sales activity & key performance indicator activityExecute performance improvement plans when necessaryCommunicate compensation program to team membersInterface with various departments throughout the organizationCoordinate national & local conference staffing & logisticsAttend key regional & national conferencesPrepare field ride reports and annual performance evaluations for each team memberResponsible for reporting Adverse Events and Technical Complaints to Tolmar Pharmacovigilance and Patient Safety (PSSP) that you learn of per SOP-00821, Pharmacovigilance and Technical Complaint Reporting.Perform various other duties as assignedRegular and punctual attendance is an essential function of the job. The final compensation offered may vary from the posted range based on the selected candidate's qualifications and experience. The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between ($165,000-$220,000/year); however, while salary ranges are effective from 1/1/26 through 12/31/26, fluctuations in the job market may necessitate adjustments to pay ranges during this period.
