Director of Resident Care - ALP NY

Recruit Secure is partnering with a beautiful Assisted Living Program in the Fishkill, NY area to identify an experienced Director of Resident Care (DRC). This leadership role supports the Administrator and Case Manager in overseeing daily clinical and operational functions in full compliance with New York State Department of Health (DOH) regulations and the community's policies and procedures.The Director of Resident Care plays a vital role in promoting resident engagement, supporting activities of daily living (ADLs), and fostering a warm, safe, and secure environment that enhances overall quality of life.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist the Administrator and Case Manager with daily operations of the Assisted Living ProgramEnsure compliance with NYS DOH regulations and internal policiesPromote resident participation in activities and ADLsMaintain a friendly, safe, and secure living environmentParticipate in and support DOH surveys and regulatory inspectionsOversee clinical care standards and documentationDevelop, mentor, and lead collaborative care teamsSupport quality assurance, problem resolution, and continuous improvement initiativesRequirementsActive New York State RN License (required)BSN degree preferredPrior experience as an Assistant Director of Patient Services (ADPS) or Director of Resident Care in an Assisted Living Program (required)Strong knowledge of Home Health and Assisted Living regulationsExperience with ALP/LCSHA billing and reimbursement processesIn-depth knowledge of State, Federal, and DOH compliance guidelinesHands-on experience participating in DOH surveys (required)Proven ability to build and lead collaborative teamsExcellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skillsStrong problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities#IND123
