We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and organized Medical Records Clerk to join our growing team. Job Summary The Medical Records Clerk is responsible for maintaining accurate, complete, and confidential patient medical records. This role supports clinical and administrative teams by ensuring records are properly organized, updated, and compliant with healthcare regulations. Responsibilities • Maintain, organize, and update electronic and paper medical records • Ensure accuracy, completeness, and confidentiality of patient information • Scan, file, retrieve, and distribute medical records as needed • Sort, receive, and distribute incoming mail and internal documents to appropriate departments • Assist with record requests from providers, patients, and authorized parties • Ensure compliance with HIPAA and organizational policies • Perform quality checks on documentation and resolve discrepancies • Support audits, reporting, and administrative tasks related to medical records • Communicate effectively with clinical and administrative staff Qualifications • High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's degree preferred) • Prior experience in medical records, healthcare administration, or clerical work preferred • Knowledge of EMR/EHR systems a plus • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, data entry) • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion • Strong communication and time-management skills Compensation & Benefits • Competitive hourly pay of $20 per hour depending on experience • Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance • Paid Time Off (PTO) and Paid Holidays • 401(k) with Employer Match • Life and Disability Insurance • Growth and advancement opportunities Why Join Doral Health & Wellness?
