Psychiatrist (Full-Time or Part-Time)

Annual Salary: $240k - $320k (varies depending on years of experience) We are seeking a dedicated Psychiatrist to provide high-quality behavioral health services to a diverse patient population.The clinician will perform psychiatric assessments, prescribe and manage psychotropic medications, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.This position plays a key role in supporting the mental health and well-being of individuals across a range of diagnoses and treatment needs.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and ongoing medication management visits.Develop and oversee individualized treatment plans, including prescribing, adjusting, or discontinuing medications as clinically education to patients and families on mental health conditions, medication effects, and treatment crisis intervention and stabilization when required.Participate in case discussions and interdisciplinary team meetings to coordinate holistic care for patients with complex needs.Maintain detailed, accurate, and timely documentation in accordance with professional and regulatory standards.Ensure smooth transitions of care between internal programs, external behavioral health providers, hospitals, and other partners.Contribute to the integration of behavioral health and primary care services through collaborative care planning.Stay informed on current trends, evidence-based practices, and legislative updates relevant to psychiatry and behavioral health.Engage in continuing professional education and participate in clinical team meetings, trainings, and peer reviews.Promote a respectful and collaborative environment with staff, patients, and community partners.Perform other related duties as assigned by leadership.QualificationsDoctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited pletion of a psychiatry residency program.Current, unrestricted New York State medical license.Board certified or board eligible in DEA certification required.Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) certification preferred.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Demonstrated ability to assess and de-escalate in crisis interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team."” Atlas Search is a tri-state area recruitment agency, connecting new graduates, Advanced Practice Providers, Physicians and Nurse Leaders to hospitals, clinics, multi-specialty groups, nursing homes, managed care companies, private practices, and healthcare start-ups. xijylhu If you would like to learn more about the opportunities we offer, please submit your CV for consideration here.
