What You'll Do:Looking to break into the bar business? The Barback is the perfect entry-level opportunity for you to gain experience.Every Bartender needs a capable assistant to have their back behind the bar. Here are a few of the tasks you can expect to complete regularly:* Assist bartenders by restocking liquor, beer, wine, and supplies* Making batches for the bar* Maintain cleanliness of bar area* Restock ice* Collect and wash glassware* Serve easy drinks including beer, soft drinks, and wineWhere You've Been:We're looking for someone with a high school diploma or equivalent. While previous barback or bar experience is a plus, it is not required. We do expect knowledge of basic bar operations and previous experience in a fast=paced environment. What we really want is someone capable of thinking on their feet and able to keep up in high-pressure situations. There will be occasions when you may be carrying/lifting up to 50 pounds, walking, bending/twisting, climbing stairs and more.
