Electrical Project Engineer (Systems Integration): Civil • Rail • Infrastructure Your new company A wellestablished civil and infrastructure contractor is seeking an Electrical Project Manager to support multiple ongoing transportation and municipal projects across New York City. The company delivers complex designbuild and systemsheavy projects, including upgrades to rail facilities, yards, pump stations, and critical infrastructure. Due to continued growth and several new multiyear awards, they are expanding their project management team with a seasoned electrical or electronic systems professional who can oversee coordination, integration, and field execution. Your new role You will serve as the key electrical systems pointperson across several active and upcoming projects. This is a fieldfocused, coordinationheavy role where you will ensure that electrical, mechanical, communications, and control systems are properly integrated and delivered on schedule. Your responsibilities will include: Managing daytoday coordination of electrical and lowvoltage systems Reviewing design and build documents, shop drawings, and instruction manuals Ensuring interconnection and integration of sensors, pumps, control panels, HMIs, fire alarm systems, HVAC interfaces, and communications equipment Crossreferencing drawings to ensure that no components or scopes are missed Overseeing integration work performed by electrical subcontractors Supporting procurement of electrical and systemsrelated materials Working closely with field teams to maintain progress on aggressive schedules Serving as an additional layer of project oversight for controls, signals, power, and trackadjacent systems Providing onsite support at multiple locations as needed What you'll need to succeed 10+ years of experience in electrical, electronic, or systemsrelated roles Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or similar Experience working for a contractor, designbuild firm, or construction manager Strong understanding of control systems, sensors, communications, and interconnection diagrams Ability to interpret electrical, mechanical, civil, and control drawings and crossreference multiple disciplines Experience with fieldbased coordination and working on active infrastructure projects Background in rail, utilities, municipal, industrial, or transportation projects is a strong advantage Ability to work on fastmoving, multisite projects with shifting priorities What you'll get in return Competitive salary Longterm, multiyear project pipeline offering stability Opportunity to grow into a senior systems integration role across multiple infrastructure projects Exposure to major NYC transportation and municipal projects Supportive team environment with direct access to decisionmakers What you need to do now If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.
