About Our Client The T-Line Engineer will be responsible for overseeing the design, analysis, and maintenance of transmission lines within the business services industry. This temporary role in New York requires a technical professional with expertise in engineering and manufacturing processes. Job Description Design overhead transmission lines in the 69kV to 500kV voltage range. Develop design criteria and perform cost analyses for transmission line projects. Support routing and siting studies for new and existing transmission lines. Perform conductor selection studies, shielding studies, grounding analysis, and induction studies. Specify transmission line components and coordinate with vendors and suppliers. Collaborate closely with clients to understand project requirements and deliver technical solutions. Lead and direct a small project team, providing technical guidance and oversight. Work alongside experienced engineers while mentoring and supporting less experienced staff. Engage with a diverse client base and coordinate with multidisciplinary project teams. Participate in proposal development and preparation of cost estimates for new work. Conduct occasional travel for site visits, field reviews, and client meetings. The Successful Applicant A successful T-Line Engineer should have: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Experience in transmission line engineering or related power delivery projects preferred. Knowledge of transmission line materials, structural systems, and electrical principles. Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with clients and project teams. Ability to manage multiple tasks and contribute to both technical and business development efforts.
