Meeting Support Specialist (Conference Services)Location: New York, NY 10020Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PMPay Rate: $25/hrWe are seeking a highly organized and tech-savvy Meeting Support Specialist to join our team in New York. In this role, you will ensure seamless planning, execution, and follow-up of all meetings across our organization-both in-person and virtual. You will support our teams by coordinating logistics, providing technical assistance, and facilitating meetings to help achieve our business objectives. This role reports to the Client Relations Manager or Director.Key ResponsibilitiesMeeting Coordination: Schedule meetings, secure venues, arrange catering, and manage required equipment; set up virtual meetings and handle all technical aspects.Technical Support: Troubleshoot audio/visual and platform issues, perform pre-meeting equipment checks, and train employees on meeting technology.Documentation & Recordkeeping: Maintain accurate meeting schedules, attendance, and minutes; document action items and follow-ups.Meeting Facilitation: Manage agendas, guide discussions, and support time management to ensure productive meetings.Continuous Improvement: Recommend process enhancements, stay updated on meeting technologies, and implement innovations to improve efficiency.Communication & Collaboration: Act as liaison between organizers and participants, distributing materials and addressing inquiries.Training: Participate in ongoing training programs, including utilizing Cornerstone, to enhance skills and knowledge.QualificationsStrong organizational and multitasking skillsComfortable with virtual meeting platforms and technology troubleshootingExcellent communication and collaboration skillsProactive, detail-oriented, and able to work independentlyIf you are passionate about creating smooth, efficient, and productive meeting experiences, we would love to hear from you!Equal Opportunity Employer: We provide equal employment opportunities to all qualified applicants and do not discriminate based on race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, or disability.The compensation outlined reflects expectations for candidates who fully meet the role's qualifications in terms of education and experience.
