Nanny/House Manager

Nanny/Light House Manager- Manhattan (34 Guaranteed Hours) A warm, energetic family relocating from California to Manhattan is seeking a kind, engaging nanny to care for their sweet daughter, who will be 16 months old at the time of hire. The family expects to live on the Upper West Side or in Tribeca (final location confirmed in April). Mom works from home about 50% of the time and is looking for a caregiver who brings great energy, positivity, and initiative. The ideal candidate enjoys getting out of the house with toddlers-visiting parks, planning activities, and keeping days active and fun. Schedule (34 guaranteed hours): Monday: 7am-3pm Wednesday: 2pm-10pm Thursday: 2pm-8pm Friday: 7am-2pm Sunday: 8am-1pm (Tuesday & Saturday off) Start Date: May 2026 (family relocating from CA to NYC) Interviews Begin: April 20 Responsibilities Loving, attentive care for one toddler Planning outings, park visits, and developmentally appropriate activities Preparing simple, healthy meals for the child Maintaining the child's routine and hygiene Child-related laundry and organization One light household task during nap time (tidying play areas, organizing baby items, putting away groceries, etc.) Requirements Recent infant/toddler experience Excellent references Legal to work in the U.S. CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to obtain) Comfortable with a flexible schedule Willing to travel domestically with the family (international travel not required) Nice to Have Former au pair or daycare background Spanish-speaking a plus Experience with toddler milestones such as potty training Compensation & Benefits $32-$34/hour Guaranteed weekly hours Paid holidays, vacation, and sick time after trial period Warm, respectful family environment Optional additional hours some weeks
