Payroll & Benefits Specialist We're looking for a detail-driven Payroll & Benefits Specialist to own our North American payroll and benefits operations. You'll manage end-to-end payroll across the US and Canada, ensure compliance, and partner with colleagues in the UK and North America to deliver a seamless employee experience. About the Role The Payroll and Benefits Specialist will work in close collaboration with the team based in the UK, to ensure seamless integration and compliance across the North American regions. Your responsibilities will include but not limited to: Own end-to-end North American payroll: Lead the accurate and timely processing of bi-weekly multi-state US and Canadian payrolls, ensuring compliance with federal, state/provincial, and local laws. Benefits administration: Manage employee benefit programs and handle day-to-day queries, escalating or resolving issues as needed. HRIS & payroll tech: Work with systems such as ADP Celergo, ADP Workforce Now, Paylocity, HiBob and Employee Navigator to drive accuracy and efficiency. Partner across regions: Collaborate closely with our UK-based team and managers in the US and Canada to maintain consistent processes and controls. Data accuracy & analysis: Bring a meticulous approach to reconciliation and reporting, using advanced Excel skills (including formulas, PivotTables, VLOOKUPs/XLOOKUPs). About You You're experienced: With demonstrable know-how in North American payroll and benefits administration. Compliance-savvy: You have strong knowledge of US federal and state payroll regulations (Canadian experience ideal), with a track record of ensuring compliant practices. Tech-confident: You've hands-on expertise with payroll/HRIS platforms (e.g., ADP Celergo, ADP Workforce Now, Paylocity, HiBob, Employee Navigator). You're analytical & precise: You pride yourself on having exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills; you're comfortable with audits, reconciliations and resolving discrepancies. Organised & adaptable: You have excellent time-management and prioritisation skills; you're able to adapt to changing regulations, technologies and organizational needs.
