Senior Business Analyst - FAST Platform

Role: Senior Business Analyst - FAST Platform Duration: 6 months (room for extensions) Location: Remote (EST hours preferred) Job Description We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst with strong experience in consulting and technology implementations, ideally within the life insurance and annuities domain. This role involves leading business analysis efforts on FAST platform engagements, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and driving strategic initiatives for insurance carriers. Responsibilities Lead requirements gathering, design sessions, and solution workshops with customers. Manage and prioritize user stories, project timelines, and deliverables. Collaborate with business, IT, actuarial, and operations teams. Mentor junior analysts and support client adoption of the FAST platform. Analyze life insurance/annuity products, policy lifecycle, and servicing needs. Support UAT, data validation, and troubleshooting. Drive process improvements, change management, and efficiency initiatives. Provide insights on regulatory, competitive, and market trends. Qualifications Bachelor's in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field (Master's or certifications a plus). 5+ years of Business Analysis/Consulting experience in Agile environments. Experience in life insurance & annuity products (term, whole, UL, VL, group, annuities). LOMA certifications are a plus. Strong technical skills: SQL, Excel, XML parsing, JIRA, Confluence, Tableau/BI tools. Ability to analyze logs, validate data, and troubleshoot system issues. Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
