You'll define how RapidScale designs, positions, and delivers cloud and modernization solutions across public cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP), private/hosted cloud, and hybrid environments, ensuring every architecture aligns to client outcomes and our managed service capabilities.You'll oversee regional and domain-aligned architecture leaders across Private Cloud, Public Cloud, AI, Data, Application, and Security practices - guiding them to create scalable, cost-optimized, and resilient solutions that bridge the gap between traditional IT and modern cloud operations.Your mission: elevate architecture from solution design to business value realization, ensuring RapidScale's offerings accelerate our clients' digital transformation and managed service adoption while driving revenue and margin growth.In this role, you will:Define and execute the national Solutions Architecture strategy that underpins RapidScale's managed cloud and modernization business objectivesLead and mentor senior Solutions Architecture leaders and their teamsDrive alignment between Sales, Marketing, Product, and Service Delivery, ensuring that every proposed solution is both technically sound and operationally supportable within RapidScale's managed service frameworkEngage with enterprise clients at the executive level, shaping cloud transformation roadmaps, modernization journeys, and financial justification (TCO/ROI)Serve as the executive sponsor for strategic pursuits, partnering with Sales Executives and Product leaders to close complex, multi-million-dollar opportunitiesEvolve and standardize architecture methodologies to support repeatable, scalable solution design across all service lines (Cloud, AI, Data, Security, App Modernization)Collaborate with Product and Operations teams to refine managed service offerings based on field and client feedbackRepresent RapidScale's technical vision at key industry events, partner summits, and client advisory boardsMeasure impact through KPIs - including technical win rates, attach rate of managed services, and architecture influence on revenue and gross marginWhat Technical Attributes We're Looking For in YouDeep expertise across public cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid cloud architectures (VMware, hosted private cloud, colocation, and edge)Proven experience integrating managed services into solution architectures - from design through steady-state operationsFamiliarity with multi-cloud management, FinOps, and automation frameworksStrong understanding of AI/ML, data modernization, and application modernization patternsExecutive-level understanding of security, compliance, and governance frameworks across regulated industriesAbility to connect technical architecture to business impact, articulating how solutions reduce cost, improve agility, and enhance resilienceWhat General Attributes We're Looking For in You:Executive-level leader with a proven record building and scaling technical pre-sales and architecture teams within a managed service provider or consulting environmentStrong commercial acumen with a focus on margin optimization, attach rates, and service adoptionStrategic thinker who excels at translating technology capability into go-to-market differentiationSkilled at executive storytelling and influencing, able to engage both CxO audiences and technical decision-makersPassionate about developing technical talent and creating a culture of collaboration, accountability, and client obsessionComfortable driving change in a fast-paced, cross-functional, growth-oriented environmentMinimum QualificationsBachelor's degree in a related discipline and 10 years' experience in a related field. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master's degree and 8 years' experience; a Ph.D. and 5 years' experience in a related field; or 14 years' experience in a related field15+ years of experience in cloud architecture, pre-sales engineering, or technical leadership roles8+ years of experience leading large, distributed technical teams - including regional or national leadershipPreferred QualificationsProven experience working in or with a cloud managed service provider, systems integrator, or large-scale consulting firmDemonstrated success driving architecture strategy, solution innovation, and technical sales enablement for managed or cloud services offeringsUSD 215,600.00 - 359,300.00Compensation:Compensation includes a base salary in the range of $215,600.00 - $359,300.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities.
