Director of Financial Planning + Analysis for Luxury goods companyLocation: New York, NY (3 days onsite/2 days remote)Compensation: $190K - 200K + bonus potential + comprehensive benefits + 401K match + PTOAbout the Company:Luxury Fragrance House has established itself as one of the most renowned, leading fragrance houses within the luxury market today. Its flagship boutique is in Paris.Director of FP&A Role Overview:Location: NYC officeReports to: CFO/COOTeam Size: Leads 3 FP&A managersKey ResponsibilitiesFinancial Planning:Lead annual budgeting, monthly closings, quarterly reforecasting.Analyze margin, contribution by channel/product.Manage inventory financial performance.Partner on Opex management for efficiency and cost improvement.Oversee Capex evaluation and investment profitability.Control departmental financial activities including cost control.Provide variance analysis to identify risks/opportunities.Translate strategic plans into realistic budgets with action plans.Define and monitor KPIs for financial and operational metrics.Challenge assumptions, provide strategic insights for executives.Build strong cross-functional relationships.Processes and Systems:Optimize ERP setup for data quality and process efficiency.Lead continuous improvement initiatives.Assist in policy/procedure establishment.Ensure compliance with accounting, financial controls, authority levels.Participate in strategic/tactical business initiatives.Leadership & People Development:Lead and develop FP&A managers.Foster growth mindset and continuous improvement culture.Build partnerships across departments and HQ (France).Champion talent development and succession planning.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related (MBA preferred).Proven experience as Director of FP&A or similar, preferably in luxury or consumer goods companyStrong skills in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, modeling.Proficiency with financial reporting tools (Excel, planning software).Excellent communication and presentation skills.Collaborative with cross-functional teams and senior executives.Strong leadership and management skills.Preferred Qualities:Business-driven, proactive self-starter.Solution-oriented mindset.Change management capability.You can use WorkGrades to collect and manage your references for free and share them with us or anyone else you choose by visiting /home/candidate.
