This team is responsible for supporting market activities across the full trade lifecycle, ensuring accurate booking, validation, and reconciliation of transactions between Front Office and Back Office systems.Within this structure, the Middle Office plays a key role in controlling trade capture, monitoring risk and operational integrity, and acting as a central point of coordination between trading desks, operations teams, and IT.Scope of the RoleThe position sits within the Equity Trading Support Middle Office, covering a broad range of equity-related activities, including:Equity Trading & Sales SupportCollateral ManagementSecuritization OperationsFO-to-BO Processing & ReconciliationFees & Brokerage OversightPrimary coverage includes:Equity Derivatives (Vanilla & Structured)Convertible BondsEquity Finance / Delta OneCorporate Investment SolutionsRepo, Indexing, and Structured Equity ProductsKey ResponsibilitiesTrade Control & Validation (Level 1 & 2 Controls)Review and validate trade booking performed by Front Office systemsEnsure consistency between order book, term sheets, and trade capturePerform pre-issuance checks and validationsMonitor and validate invoicing processesOperational Monitoring & CoordinationAct as liaison between Front Office, Operations (MO/BO), and IT teamsInvestigate and resolve trade breaks across the FO-BO chainEnsure accurate and timely resolution of operational issuesData & Lifecycle ManagementMaintain and control market and reference data (equities, indices, calendars, counterparties)Monitor listed derivatives data (options, futures)Manage lifecycle events for structured products (corporate actions, coupons, maturities, early events, notional updates)Book and validate corporate actions in trading systemsProcess Improvement & ProjectsContribute to process optimization initiativesParticipate in user testing, documentation, and functional specificationsCollaborate with IT and project teams on system enhancementsOperational CoverageParticipate in on-call rotation (pre-market / post-market support) to ensure data accuracy and system readinessRequirementsExperience3+ years of experience in Middle Office / Trade Support (Equity environment)Strong exposure to Equity Derivatives (mandatory - both theoretical and operational understanding)Technical SkillsFamiliarity with Front Office trading systems (experience with SOPHIS is a plus)Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel in particular)VBA knowledge is a plus
