Our client the luxury space is looking to hire a Demand and Supply Planning Analyst to join their team!Job Title: Demand and Supply Planning AnalystType: Contract (40 hours/ week)Duration: 6 monthsLocation: NYCOnsite: hybridRate: $30- 35/hrJob Summary:We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Demand and Supply Planning Specialist to support our planning team in ensuring optimal inventory levels and smooth supply chain operations. In this role, you will assist in gathering and analyzing data, updating forecasts, and coordinating with internal departments to help balance supply and demand.Key Responsibilities:Assist in the preparation and maintenance of demand forecasts based on historical data, market trends, and sales inputSupport the coordination of supply planning activities to ensure timely product availabilityMonitor inventory levels and flag potential shortages or overstock situationsWork with cross-functional teams including sales, marketing, procurement, and logistics to align supply chain plansMaintain and update planning tools and databases (e.g., ERP, Excel, or forecasting software)Generate regular reports on inventory, forecast accuracy, and key supply chain KPIsAssist with root cause analysis and corrective action for supply or demand imbalancesParticipate in planning meetings and support the execution of action plansQualifications:Must have previous experience in supply chain or demand planningBachelors degree in supply chain or related field2-4 years of professional working experiencePrevious experience working with a luxury brand in the fashion or beauty spaceAbility to go onsite in NYC
