Additionally, the Senior Associate will support company-wide marketing and business development initiatives. QUALIFICATIONSEducation: Undergraduate or advanced degree requiredActive real estate licenses where required by state law or license in-progressExperience:Masters of Real Estate or equivalent graduate degree completed or underway OR a minimum of 3 years real estate transaction experienceNonprofit or public institution real estate experience a plusTechnical Skills:Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite including Outlook Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, as well as Adobe Acrobat.The ideal candidate will have experience performing data analysis and analyzing and modifying financial models in excel.Experience with CoStar and other real estate platforms a plus.Knowledge of Adobe suite, CAD and CRM software a plus.FUNCTIONS INCLUDE:Manage site searches.Prepare for and assist running client meetings, board presentations, and space tours.Manage off-market space searches through data driven outreach including emails, calls and in-person contact with owners.Lead small and medium transactions end-to-end with minimal oversightSupport the preparation and negotiation of term sheets and legal documents including letters of intent, lease reviews, purchase and sale agreements, and development agreements.Support the creation of RFP responses and new business pitch materials in coordination with marketing.Support and coordinate business development initiatives including workshops, events, associated data gathering and direct outreach campaigns.Prepare and coordinate client reporting and deliverables, including space summary and strategic reports.Additional responsibilities include assisting with certain support functions of the practice group.
