This role partners directly with Front Office leadership to deliver technology capabilities that drive revenue growth, enhance client offering, and enable new product development.Operating at the intersection of trading, risk, and technology, the incumbent leads the evolution of low-latency, high-performance platforms supporting pricing, execution, and real-time risk. The role combines strategic leadership, deep technical expertise, and strong business engagement to ensure platform resiliency, scalability, and competitive advantage in global markets.Key Responsibilities:Strategic Technology LeadershipPartner with Rates & Credit business heads to define and execute the technolgy strategy and roadmap aligned with business growth and market expansionInfluence investment decisions and prioritize the technology book of work across front-office platformsDrive innovation and modernization initiatives across trading systems and architectureFront Office Platform Ownership & ExcellenceOwn the end-to-end delivery of front-office trading platforms, including pricing, execution, and risk systemsEnsure platforms are robust, scalable, low-latency, and highly resilient in a real-time trading environmentLead integration and optimization of ION platforms and other vendorin-house systemsOversee market data, pricing engines, and trade lifecycle flows across Rates and Credit productsTechnical Leadership & ArchitectureDrive target-state architecture, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards while meeting front-office performance demandsPromote modern engineering practices (API-driven architecture, event-based systems, DevOps)Partner with Quant and Risk teams to enhance pricing models and analytics capabilitiesPlatform Resiliency & Risk ManagementEnsure strong operational stability, resiliency, and control frameworksLead incident, problem, and change management in a mission-critical trading environmentMaintain compliance with regulatory, audit, and risk requirementsGlobal Team Leadership & DeliveryLead, mentor, and scale a globally distributed technology organizationFoster a culture of engineering excellence, accountability, and continuous improvementManage large-scale delivery programs across multiple applications and teamsWhat You Bring:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Education:Bachelors Degree: in related field or equivalent demonstrated through a combination of work experience, training, military service, or education - RequiredMaster's Degree: in related field or equivalent demonstrated through a combination of work experience, training, military service, or education - PreferredQualifications:12+ Years Experience in field or similar industry - Required.Significant experience in Financial Services technology, with a strong focus on Front Office Global Markets (Rates & Credit)Proven track record in a senior technology leadership role (ED level or equivalent)Deep understanding of Rates andor Credit products (IR derivatives, bonds, CDS, structured products)Strong experience with front-office trading systems, pricing, and real-time riskHands-on experience with ION platforms or equivalent vendor systemsDemonstrated experience delivering large-scale, complex technology ecosystems (architecture through production)Strong background in low-latency, high-throughput systems and distributed architecturesProven ability to lead transformation and modernization programsExperience managing budgets, priorities, and investment decisionsLeadership & Competencies:Strong ability to influence senior stakeholders and build trusted partnerships with Front Office leadershipDemonstrated people leadership, with experience managing global teamsAbility to operate in an environment with rapidly changing priorities and high pressureStrong problem-solving skills with ability to translate business needs into technology solutionsClear communicator across technical and non-technical audiencesStrong awareness of regulatory, risk, and control frameworksIt Would Be Nice For You To Have:Experience with electronic trading and algorithmic platformsExposure to quantitative models and pricing librariesExperience with cloud adoption in trading environmentsEstablished work history or equivalent demonstrated through a combination of work experience, training, military service, or education.?What Else You Need To Know:The base pay range for this position is posted below and represents the annualized salary range. For hourly positions (non-exempt), the annual range is based on a 40-hour work week.
