Assistant Designer- Women's and Men's ApparelClient Overview: Innovative, multi-category fashion house, which manufactures, designs and markets to consumers base throughout the United StatesPosition Overview: Assistant Designer supports the design team in the creative execution of product lines. Key Responsibilities:• Assist the Senior Designer in developing seasonal lines, including technical sketches, line sheets, and CADs.• Create presentation boards and other visual tools for milestone meetings.• Support preparations for Color & Concept reviews, Line Presentations, and other key meetings.• Complete and coordinate design details for product development with the technical design team.• Assist in the selection of trims for development and follow up with production to ensure timely execution.Qualifications:• Degree in apparel design, fashion design, or a related field.• At least 1 year of experience in apparel design- internships included• Working knowledge of garment construction and measurements.• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Excel, and Word.• Strong organizational skills, creativity, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
