Senior Technical Designer

We're looking for a Senior Technical Designer with 3-5 years of experience to join our team. You'll own the process of bringing creative vision to life through precise, production-ready specs, ensuring every style meets our quality standards across woven, knit, and sweater categories. In this role, you'll work closely with and mentor our junior Technical Designer, sharing knowledge and building a strong, collaborative technical team.ResponsibilitesLead fittings independently, making real-time decisions on fit, construction, and gradingBuild and maintain detailed tech packs and garment specs across multiple categoriesMeasure and evaluate garments against spec, identifying and communicating issues clearlyPartner directly with overseas factories on fit comments, construction callouts, and approval statusCollaborate with design and production teams to ensure technical feasibility from the startMaintain and update measurement charts, size specs, and grading across a full size runDrive calendars and keep development on track across multiple styles simultaneouslyGuide and support the junior Technical Designer day to day, helping to grow their skills and technical knowledgeRequirements3-5 years of technical design experience across wovens, knits, and sweatersStrong technical knowledge of garment constructionProven ability to run fittings confidently and independentlyExperience communicating directly with factories and writing clear, actionable fit commentsProficiency in Adobe Illustratorand Excel / Google SheetsHighly organized with the ability to juggle multiple styles and deadlines at onceA collaborative, patient approach with a genuine interest in mentoring and developing othersWhy Join With JéanYou'll be part of a globally recognized brand with a passionate community, collaborating closely with a tight-knit team to shape the next stage of growth.
