Our client, a popular fashion brand, is seeking an Associate Designer to support their Wovens team in New York!Responsibilities:Provide reliable support to the Design teamIdentify new trends, innovations, opportunities, and assist in the creation of seasonal design concepts to final productCreate detailed flat sketches and tech packs with specsCommunicate with the factories in getting all samples, fabrics, trims on a timely basisAssist in preparing showroom for presentation to buyersCreate presentation decks for virtual meetingsCreate CADs based on seasonal vision and make changes quickly as neededParticipate in fit sessions & take fit commentsIssuing production comments for lab dips and strike offsQualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Fashion Design, Product Development or related field2+ years of experience preferred in design field and/or strong internship experienceProficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop) and PLM requiredExcellent organizational and communicationExcellent eye for specs, proportion, fit, and constructionMust be a very flexible/adaptable, a fast learner and can manage in a fast-paced / ever-changing environmentPlease submit your Resume & Portfolio to apply!You can use to collect and manage your references for free and share them with us or anyone else you choose.
