Must have retail and apparel experience to be considered for this role. Role Overview: The HR Generalist will support U.S. corporate and retail teams, partnering closely with leadership to deliver core HR functions. This hands-on role focuses on employee relations, compliance, performance management, training, payroll coordination, and workplace health and safety. The position plays a key role in ensuring alignment with employment laws and fostering a productive, compliant, and engaging workplace.HR Generalist Responsibilities:Partner with HR leadership and management to execute HR strategy across compliance, performance management, training, and employee relationsEnsure adherence to federal, state, and local employment laws and maintain up-to-date HR policies and practicesSupport performance management processes including goal setting, feedback, and development planningManage employee relations matters, conduct investigations, and guide disciplinary actions where neededCollaborate with payroll teams to ensure accurate and compliant payroll processesAssist with compensation reviews, market analysis, and total rewards initiativesCoordinate onboarding, offboarding, and employee lifecycle processesLead and track training programs, including onboarding and compliance trainingPromote and manage workplace health and safety programs, including workers' compensation and OSHA compliancePartner cross-functionally on HR initiatives and special projectsHR Generalist Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field5+ years of experience in an HR Generalist roleStrong knowledge of U.S. employment laws and HR best practicesExperience in retail or fashion industry preferredExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong organizational skills and attention to detailProficiency in Microsoft Office and HR/Payroll systemsSpanish language skills preferred
