This role is for someone who can move seamlessly between beauty, tech, travel, B2B and B2C, and can flex between a myriad of voices, from a CTO at a Fortune500 to quippy Instagram Reels copy for an up-and-coming beauty brand. If you're equal parts storyteller, strategist, and terminally online, and you love writing work that shows up in feeds, inboxes, on websites, and campaigns, this might be the role for you.What You'll DoDevelop concepts and messaging for campaigns spanning beauty, technology, and B2B + B2C clientsWrite clear, compelling, and on-brand copy across platforms, with a strong focus on social-first content (organic + paid)Craft everything from headlines, captions, and scripts to longer-form copy like manifestos, websites, and brand narrativesCollaborate closely with Art Directors, Creative Strategists, and Account teams to bring ideas to lifeTranslate complex ideas into approachable, engaging language"”especially for tech and B2B audiencesAdapt tone and voice across different brands while maintaining consistency and clarityOptimize copy for platform nuances, audience behavior, and performance goalsParticipate in brainstorms, presentations, and creative reviewsWhat We're Looking For3-5 years of copywriting experience, ideally within an agency or similar fast-paced environmentA portfolio that shows range"”beauty, tech, B2B, and social-first work are a mustDeep understanding of social platforms (Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, X, etc.) and how copy performs differently on eachAbility to write for both consumers and business audiences with confidence and nuanceStrong conceptual thinking paired with exceptional writing and editing skillsComfort working across multiple clients and deadlines without losing craft or attention to detailCollaborative mindset with the confidence to share ideas and take feedbackBonus Points If You...Have experience writing paid social, video scripts, or influencer contentUnderstand SEO or performance metrics and how they inform copyCan jump from witty and playful to smart and authoritative without missing a beatHave start-up Experience: Is HangarFour a start-up?
