Associate Fund Controller

As an Associate Fund Controller, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting our SPV and fund clients throughout the lifecycle of their investment vehicles. Your expertise will be instrumental in navigating complex investment transactions and providing critical support to our internal teamsall within a fast-growing, dynamic environment. Location: New York City (hybrid; 2 days per week in office) What You'll Do: Manage post-closing events for Sydecar's SPV and Fund+ products including transfers of interest, conversions, and realizations Serve as an escalation contact for other members of the Customer Experience team as they encounter complex investment structures Provide exceptional customer service as you lead onboarding calls with newly-signed fund customers, and manage the relationship on an ongoing basis Assist with quarterly management fee payments and prepare financial reporting packages for fund clients and investors Ensure standardization across the team by developing thoughtful, repeatable standard operating procedures Prepare and review distribution calculations Set up and review payments to companies and investors What We're Looking For: 5+ years of experience with Fund Accountant or Controller positions Strong understanding of venture capital/private equity structures and operations. Proficiency in US GAAP Exceptional attention to detail, process driven, and highly organized, with an eye for process/product improvement Strong communication skills with a passion for client service and creating positive customer experiences.
