Details below:· You will serve as the go-to tax specialist on significant transactions - from commercial real estate acquisitions and sales to joint ventures, fund formations, and partnership reorganizations. Your expertise will directly shape how deals are put together by devising creative strategies to maximize federal and state tax efficiency.· Unlike many firms where tax lawyers work in a silo, here you are a core member of the deal team. You'll work collaboratively with deal attorneys and clients in real time. Your advice isn't an afterthought - it's central to the transaction's success.· Because you're embedded in the deal process, your work is highly visible and genuinely impactful. You'll see the direct results of your advice in high-profile transactions, giving you recognition and a sense of ownership in the outcome.· This firm is renowned for its friendly, collaborative culture and strong commitment to attorney development and retention. They prioritize long-term sustainability over short-term burnout - with a soft target of ~1850 hours/year (no hard minimum to stay in good standing).· Elevation typically occurs in the 10th year of practice.· Cravath-scale salary.· Hybrid work setup (in-office 3 days a week - Tuesdays, Thursdays, and one flex day of your choice).
