Must have a trackable work history with no cancellations. Certification and experience with specific equipment required. Description: Ensure traveler is aware that upon accepting an assignment and starting the role, the unit manager may assign you to an Emergency Team. There will be an expectation to stay at the facility until after events pass or to be part of the relief team. Specific details pertaining to pay will be relayed during each emergency event, as impacts may vary. By signing the travel contract, you accept the above conditions and will report as assigned by the unit manager during emergency events. Should not apply for this role if uncomfortable with the above conditions. Additional checklist required on submission. Must have a minimum of 3 years' experience. Familiarity with sterilizers, Sterrad Machines, and ultrasonic cleaners is essential. Skills required include: Use of sterilizers, Sterilization testing and monitoring, Decontamination processes, Instrument preparation and functionality checks, Proper labeling and wrapping materials, High-level disinfection. Interview questions will focus on: Familiarity with instrument tracking systems, Explanation of the 3-sink method in decontamination, Loaner/vendor processes, Key parameters monitored on sterilization printouts. Understanding teamwork and its importance in the workplace. Special equipment and cleaning procedures for robotic instruments are also essential. A minimum of 3 on the skills checklist for specific procedures is required. Candidate must have current work experience in sterile processing. Resumes will be screened for compliance with outlined experience and certification requirements. References from managers or supervisors may be needed for clearance to start the contract.
