A specialized opportunity is available for an Itinerant Music Therapist to provide therapeutic services within a dynamic school environment. Key Responsibilities: Deliver music therapy interventions tailored to individual student needs across multiple school locations. Collaborate with educators, therapists, and support staff to integrate therapeutic practices into the school day. Assess student progress and document therapeutic outcomes effectively. Provide itinerant services across designated schools within the district as required. Qualifications and Experience: Valid Maryland Music Therapy license is required. Proven experience working as a music therapist in educational settings. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with students, staff, and families. Ability to adapt therapy approaches to a diverse student population. Location: Based in New Market, MD, servicing schools within the Frederick County Public Schools district.
