Job Description:
Our client is a growing manufacturing organization with three facilities and a workforce of approximately 280 employees. They are seeking an experienced Human Resources Director to lead the HR function, strengthen talent development initiatives, and support our multisite operations. The Human Resources Director will oversee all HR operations across three manufacturing plants, ensuring consistent practices, strong employee engagement, including onboarding and training, and compliance with all regulations. This leader will drive talent development strategies, support organizational growth, and lead a team of three HR professionals. Apply today! Work model: On-Site What you will do: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of three HR professionals across multiple plant locations Oversee HR operations, including employee relations, performance management, compliance, and workforce planning Build and execute talent development programs including training, leadership development, and succession planning Partner with plant leadership to support staffing needs, employee engagement, and culture initiatives Manage recruitment strategies for skilled trades, production roles, and professional positions Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and manufacturingspecific regulations Oversee benefits administration, compensation programs, and HRIS accuracy Support safety initiatives in partnership with EHS teams Drive continuous improvement in HR processes, policies, and employee experience Serve as a strategic advisor to senior leadership on organizational development and workforce trends What you will need to be successful: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master's preferred) 7+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a manufacturing environment Demonstrated experience in talent development, training programs, or leadership development Proven ability to lead and develop HR teams Strong understanding of employment law, compliance, and HR best practices Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problemsolving skills Ability to travel between plant locations as needed Handson, collaborative leadership style Benefits overview: Health, dental, and vision insurance PTO 401k Interested and qualified candidates can contact Maddie Hodgson at (515) 225-7000 or email .
