This organization designs and delivers high-performance solutions that connect and protect critical equipment, buildings, and systems across industries worldwide.This role is responsible for leading the strategy, implementation, and ongoing operations of enterprise infrastructure in a complex, global environment. The ideal candidate brings a strong blend of technical expertise, leadership experience, and a proactive approach to driving innovation, security, and operational excellence.Job DescriptionThe IT Infrastructure Manager will oversee core infrastructure systems and lead a high-performing team responsible for ensuring reliability, scalability, and security across global operations. This individual will play a key role in modernizing infrastructure and supporting business growth through strategic initiatives.Key ResponsibilitiesLead, mentor, and develop an infrastructure team, including workload management, technical guidance, and professional developmentCollaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues, improve service delivery, and support business prioritiesManage vendor relationships, contracts, and infrastructure-related budgetsDrive infrastructure initiatives such as system upgrades, cloud migrations, acquisitions integration, and modernization effortsDefine and execute on the infrastructure roadmap aligned with business goals and emerging technologiesOversee core infrastructure including servers, networks, storage, virtualization, and cloud platformsMonitor system performance, availability, and capacity to ensure optimal operationsStandardize infrastructure processes and practices across multiple sitesLead vulnerability remediation efforts, including patching and security updatesCoordinate response to infrastructure-related incidents in partnership with cybersecurity teamsEnsure compliance with internal controls, audits, and regulatory standardsMaintain and test disaster recovery and business continuity plansDevelop and maintain technical documentation including architecture diagrams, SOPs, and asset inventoriesQualificationsRequired Qualifications:15+ years of progressive experience in IT infrastructure, including at least 6 years in a leadership or management roleProven success leading enterprise-level infrastructure projects and distributed/global teamsStrong technical expertise across:Server environments (Windows/Active Directory; Linux/Unix exposure preferred)End-user computing (Windows devices, virtual desktops, mobile devices, SCCM, Intune)Collaboration platforms (Microsoft 365, including Entra ID, Teams, SharePoint)Networking (LAN/WAN)Virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V)Cloud platforms (Microsoft Azure and/or AWS)Storage, backup, and disaster recovery solutionsKnowledge of IT security best practices, vulnerability management, and compliance frameworksStrong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to influence stakeholdersPreferred Qualifications:Experience working in a large, global enterprise environmentExperience supporting infrastructure across multiple geographic locations and business unitsBenefitsOur client offers a comprehensive benefits package designed to support the health, financial well-being, and work-life balance of eligible full-time employees.
