Compliance Officer

Job Description Global banking client is seeking a compliance officer to join their team as senior member of the Regulatory Compliance Department responsible for helping oversee the Bank's AML/OFAC and Corporate Compliance Programs. Ensures programs remain effective, risk-based, and aligned with regulatory expectations, while serving as an independent advisor to senior management and supporting regulatory examinations.Key Responsibilities Help manage and enhance AML/OFAC and Corporate Compliance Programs in response to regulatory changes Lead compliance risk assessments, testing, and monitoring Maintain and update policies, procedures, and program documentation Support and interface with regulators, internal audit, and senior management Prepare and lead compliance governance and committee meetings, including Board-level forums Oversee compliance training and staff development Provide guidance on complex compliance matters and serve as AML/OFAC Responsible Officer as needed Qualifications 7+ years of BSA/AML/OFAC and/or Corporate Compliance experience in a regulated financial institution Strong knowledge of U.S. Banking regulations and compliance risk management Management experience required Experience with regulatory exams and transaction monitoring systems (Fircosoft a plus) Meet Your RecruiterNick LaPetina
