# Senior Reservations ConsultantThis role forms part of the Village n Life Travel Support team based at Pezula Nature Retreat in KnysnaThe RoleAs Senior Reservations Consultant, youll form part of a professional reservations team responsible for managing guest and agent bookings across the Village n Life portfolio. Youll handle enquiries, process reservations and ensure all information is captured accurately while supporting the team in maintaining high service standards and achieving sales goals.This position suits someone detail-driven, guest-focused and confident in navigating multiple systems and property requirements within a dynamic environment.Key ResponsibilitiesRespond to reservation enquiries via phone, email and online channels as part of the team schedule Prepare accurate quotations, confirmations and pro-forma invoices within company timelines Record and update bookings on Opera PMS and related systems Manage amendments, cancellations, special requests and no-show procedures Support booking coordination for transfers, meals and activities where applicable Maintain effective communication with travel partners, agents and internal hotel teams Ensure daily arrivals, group details and VIP arrangements are communicated to properties Stay informed of special rates, promotions and group offers Contribute to revenue growth through upselling and promoting Village n Life properties Assist in resolving guest queries and complaints with professionalism and care Collaborate closely with the Reservations, Finance and Sales teams to ensure operational alignmentWhat Were Looking ForGrade 12 (Matric) and a hospitality qualification (advantageous) 24 years experience in a reservations or hospitality role Working knowledge of Opera or similar PMS systems Strong communication and organisational skills Detail-oriented with a proactive, guest-focused mindset Ability to work effectively within a structured team environmentWhat We OfferA dynamic role Career growth and mentorship opportunities within Village n Life Shared technology allowances and performance incentives Staff housing options and access to staff facilities Competitive package aligned with experienceJob Categories:Job Types:Experience Levels:Job Locations:Job Properties:## Apply for this position #J-18808-Ljbffr
