With our network of more than 80 manufacturing facilities and more than 4,000 employees, we're leading the industry with innovation and a safety-first mindset.Job SummaryManages and coordinates the Maintenance workforce to ensure safe and efficient execution of all OES machine and facility maintenance activities.Job LocationThis role will be based in our facility in Napoleon, OH.Job ResponsibilitiesPlans, coordinates and communicates daily maintenance tasks based on the highest priority needs and ensures their timely and efficient completion by Maintenance TechniciansReviews compliance to planned work orders through maintenance management software system and reports status updates to managementMaintains up to date and accurate maintenance data, including records of all maintenance and repair activities conducted, purchase orders for spare/replacement parts and spare parts inventoryEnsures spare part lists are available for all existing equipment and new installations and equipment is consistent and compatible with reliability enhancementsMaintains frequent contact with production staff to ensure proper functioning of all equipment and the timely completion of previously communicated maintenance needsDevelops and implements standardized maintenance repair techniques and preventative maintenance procedures to ensure the most effective and efficient methods are in usePlans and schedules preventative and predictive maintenance to ensure optimal equipment functionality and limit machine malfunctions and downtimeIdentifies and proactively addresses safety concerns and enforces staff compliance with safety regulations for maintenance employees and contractors brought on siteImplement, authorize and review all safety permits pertaining to maintenance of equipmentEnsures all new employees receive necessary safety and technical training to ensure efficient ramp up into maintenance rolesOversees the work of site contractors and ensures adherence to established safety and operations proceduresRespond to weekend calls and organize weekly schedules for employees' time off, weekend coverage and shift coverageMaintains accurate employee attendance and performance information and authorizes work schedules for payrollEffectively communicate with employees and management through shift pass down meetings, OPL, VOP's, Damage Reports, Accident Reports, emails, text messages, etc.Other duties may be assigned as neededJob RequirementsStrong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skillsAbility to coach, develop and build a strong team of employeesStrong listening and clear communication skills both written and verbalAbility to manage multiple priorities simultaneouslyDemonstrated ability to work in a results-oriented environmentForklift and Crane Certification or ability to obtain is requiredWelding skills preferredStrong working knowledge of electrical and hydraulic systemsAbility to review and understand machine blueprints/ schematicsAbility to use hand tools and basic machine shop equipmentMinimum one year of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment preferredHigh school diploma or equivalent required, college degree OR industrial maintenance certifications preferredMust have experience in the maintenance field, at least 2 years is preferredMust have previous supervisory or leadership experienceProficient in Microsoft Office including Word and ExcelAbility to perform basic mathematical skills such as calculating percentages and volumes and using fractionsWhat CRH Offers YouHighly competitive base payComprehensive medical, dental and disability benefits programsGroup retirement savings programHealth and wellness programsAn inclusive culture that values opportunity for growth, development, and internal promotionAbout CRHCRH has a long and proud heritage.
