Working onsite in a clinical environment and reporting to the Center Administrator you will perform varied activities and moderately complex administrative, operational, and customer support assignments.Location: CenterWell Senior Primary Care office located at240 Hwy 17 North, North Myrtle Beach, SC 29582As a Medical Assistant you will perform clinical tasks such as:Perform pre-visit planning based on patient visit typeObtain and record medical history and vital signsRoom patients and assist healthcare providers with medical procedures and treatmentsPerform specimen collection and point of care testingPrepare and administer medication under the direction of healthcare providerEnsure accurate documentation in the electronic health record (HER) and electronic medical record (EMR) systems, including documentation of HEDIS and Stars quality measuresUse your skills to make an impact  RequiredSuccessful completion of MA school/training program and a Certified/Registered Medical Assistant or Certified/Registered Medical Assistant with 5+ years of experience and approval from ProviderHigh school diploma or equivalentCPR CertifiedThis role is considered patient facing and is part of the company's Tuberculosis (TB) screening program. If selected for this role, you will be required to be screened for TB.PreferredPhlebotomy experience• Medication/vaccine administration experience1+ years of MA experienceValue Based Care experience including knowledge of HEDIS, CPT/ICD coding, and CAHPS/HOS Patient Experience.Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish - must pass proficiency exam prior to foreign language communication#LI-RA1Scheduled Weekly Hours40Pay RangeThe compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc. $40,000 - $52,300 per year This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan.
