Akkodis is seeking a New Product Introduction Manager (NPI) for a Contract job with a client in Mountain View CA 94043 (Onsite) roles. We are ideally looking for candidates having 5+ years of experience in NPI, supply chain, or program management in automotive or electronics hardware programs. Pay Range: $40-$50/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.Qualifications (Skills & Experiences?& Education)Years of Relevant Experience: Minimum years of relevant experience needed to perform the job:5+ years of experience in NPI, supply chain, or program management in automotive or electronics hardware programs.Education RequiredBachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).Skills:General skills needed to perform the jobAttention to detail and a high level of accuracy in all workCritical thinking skillsThoughtful problem solvingStrong communication - verbal and writtenTime managementRequiredExperience managing material readiness across hardware NPI phases (EV/DV/PV) through SOP, including build support and rampStrong working knowledge of BOM maturity, part release workflows, and engineering change control (ECO/ECR) in a product lifecycle environmentHands-on experience driving supplier readiness (capacity planning, tooling status, lead-time confirmation) and resolving material shortagesProven ability to identify and mitigate supply risks (long-lead items, single-source dependencies, semiconductor constraints)Working knowledge of PLM/ERP systems and supply planning tools (e.g., SAP, Teamcenter) and creation of dashboards/trackers for material visibility.DesiredFamiliarity with semiconductor supply chains and allocation/constraint managementExperience partnering with contract manufacturers / build partners for prototype and production builds. Role Summary: The NPI Material Program Manager leads end-to-end material readiness and supply chain execution for new hardware programs from concept through Start of Production (SOP).
