The Brand Storytelling and Experiences group brings Intuit's mission to life through high"‘impact campaigns and experiences worldwide. As a Senior Motion Designer, you will drive ideation and execution of 2D and 3D motion design and animation across multiple campaigns and touchpoints, elevating the craft of motion design and working collaboratively with design, copy, video, and strategy partners. The role is based in the L.A. Culver City office 3x per week with remote options for eligible candidates. Responsibilities What you'll do Develop and animate world"‘class motion design for internal and external projects (brand campaigns, organic social, GTM initiatives) and events (live, virtual, hybrid). Work directly with a Motion Design Creative Director, Content and Strategy Directors, or cross"‘functional teams from brand and experiential design. Collaborate with experienced creative leaders and stakeholders across motion, brand, and experiential design. Lead internal and external teams, leveraging collaboration to drive best outcomes. Operate with ownership within a collaborative creative direction model, reviewing, iterating, and sharing accountability. Use customer insights and empathy to develop and pitch creative concepts. Translate overall design direction for events and campaigns into elegant, elevated motion design. Manage and direct external motion design partners and agencies. Work closely with video producers and editors, managing post workflows for motion graphics in video deliverables. Qualifications What you bring Experience 10+ years pitching, developing, designing and animating 2D, 3D, and experiential motion deliverables at leading studios, agencies, or companies. A portfolio showing highly engaging event, show package, marketing, sizzle video, and presentation deck work. Insight Passion for all things motion design, continuous learning, and personal creative practice. Exceptional narrative instincts with pacing, emphasis, and emotional resonance. Exceptional experiential instincts: intuitive understanding of space, medium, audience experience, and emotional impact. Audience"‘first approach to storytelling using insights and empathy. Ability to express abstract ideas like intelligence, decision"‘making, or trust through motion. Adaptability Comfort navigating ambiguity, shaping clarity from incomplete inputs, and managing multiple stakeholders. Passion for excellence and business impact. Ability to lead and support with accountability. Strong production acumen: assess timelines, identify risks, and recommend effective approaches. Ability to balance multiple productions of varying scope concurrently. Craft Skills Strong design skills in motion and storytelling. Mastery of After Effects, Premiere, Cinema4D, Figma, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Google Slides. Exceptional After Effects skillset: single comp workflows, editor modes, scripts, and effects. Expert animation skills with deep understanding of speed curves and the 12 principles of animation. Experience with related tools (Unreal Engine, Cavalry, Rive, Processing, DaVinci, Nuke). Interest and proficiency in using AI as a helper tool. Collaboration Collaborative mindset: accountable for end"‘to"‘end development and animation both independently and with others.
