Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced and dedicated Pharmacist in Charge to lead daily retail pharmacy operations in Mt Vernon Illinois. Company Profile:Well-established, family-owned community pharmacy with a long-standing reputation for providing exceptional patient care and personalized service.Pharmacist in Charge Role:The Pharmacist-in-Charge will oversee a supportive team while ensuring smooth operations, regulatory compliance, and a patient focused approachOversee all aspects of pharmacy operations to ensure compliance with state and federal regulationsProvide excellent patient care, including prescription verification, counseling, and medication therapy managementSupervise, train, and mentor a teamManage and optimize workflow using PioneerRx pharmacy softwareOversee compliance packaging operations using Dispill to ensure accuracy and timelinessCoordinate and oversee weekday deliveries to patients and facilities, ensuring safe and efficient serviceMaintain accurate records of prescriptions, controlled substances, and inventoryDevelop and implement policies and procedures to ensure operational efficiency and regulatory complianceBuild strong relationships with patients, healthcare providers, and the local communityEnsure quality assurance and compliance standards are consistently metPharmacist in Charge Background Profile:Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited programActive pharmacist license in good standingMinimum of 5 years of retail pharmacy experienceProven experience in a leadership or management capacity preferredStrong knowledge of pharmacy laws, regulations, and compliance standardsExcellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skillsFamiliarity with PioneerRx pharmacy management software is a plusExperience with compliance packaging (Dispill) is preferredFeatures and Benefits:Medical401kPTO Job RequirementsPioneerRx, Retail Pharmacy Additional InformationFrontline Source Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
